A Snow-Camp Bursary will support the inner-city young people we work with, by covering the costs of their participation in our snowsports programmes. It will be used to help them achieve a snowsports qualification and employment in the snow sports industry.
The bursary scheme focuses on funding places on our programmes which are taken up by small independent or voluntary youth projects which have very low funding capacity. Alternatively, it funds inner-city young people who are not attached to a youth programme, but through their own initiative have found out about Snow-Camp.
How will my bursary donation help?
£99 funds a place for a young person on our Snow-Camp London course – a 2-day ‘Learn to Ski or Snowboard’ programme held at Hemel Snowcentre and Chatham Ski Centre, combined with an intensive life-skills course.
£399 enables a young person to complete both the Snow-Camp London and Snow-Camp Graduate Programme
£899 enables a young person to complete the London, Graduate and Scotland residential programmes.
£1,399 enables one young person to move through our programmes from end to end, finishing with our Excel Programme, and gives them a real opportunity to secure a Ski or Snowboard Instructor qualification and an employment opportunity in the snowsports industry.
As a bursary scheme supporter, you will receive regular Snow-Camp updates and feedback about the progress of the young people benefitting from the bursary scheme, recognition on the Snow-Camp website and VIP invitations to Snow-Camp events.
Current bursary places have been generously provided by the Myles Robinson Memorial Trust, The Starr Trust, The Salters Charitable Trust and The Miles Kemp Trust. To read about these bursaries and the young people they support, please click here.

I learnt through skiing that if I say I can do something, and then put my mind to it, then nothing is impossible!
