Ski Safari announce £125,000 fund to support Snow-Camp

We’re delighted to announce that Ski Safari have established an incredible £125,000 development fund to support Snow-Camp.

The three year project will support our long-term business model, so that even more inner-city young people can access snowsports, personal development training and vocational opportunities across the snowsports industry.

A cheque was presented to Snow-Camp Director and Founder, Dan Charlish, by Ski Safari CEO and Founder, Richard Rice, at an informal gathering at the Telegraph Ski and Snowboard Show. They were joined by key Snow-Camp supporters, ski industry associates and members of the Ski Safari team, including Financial Controller Maggie Jago, who heads up the Ski Safari Charity Team.

Ski Safari have supported our work in a number of different ways over the past few years – including through the launch of Snow-Camp Bristol and individual bursaries. Over that time, the relationship between the organisations has grown, and this project is to help us to continue to achieve even more for the nation’s young people through snowsports.

Richard said “It is amazing what Dan and his team have achieved so far. This money is about helping them do even more! We at Ski Safari have developed a close relationship with the Snow-Camp team and we are keen to support them as the organisation grows, so that as many young people as possible can benefit over the next few years.”

Dan said “Once again, we are amazed at the enthusiasm Richard and his team at Ski Safari have shown for Snow-Camp’s work and vision. This funding will have a huge impact in helping secure Snow-Camp’s long term future and overall sustainability. There is much we can learn from Ski Safari as we look to build our charity further and we are looking forward to working more closely together. The funds donated will make a massive difference to our ability to work with inner city young people.”

Thank you so much to Richard and everyone at Ski Safari, we’re blown away by your generosity. The funds will make a huge difference to the lives of thousands of young young people, we can’t thank you enough for your support.
