The Manchester based investment firm became the title sponsor of our annual ski fundraising event, the Alpine Challenge. They made a generous financial contribution to kick start our North West programmes and at the start of the month 130 staff members took on a Tough Mudder to raise money for us.
To further help Snow-Camp raise its profile in the North West, AJ Bell has renamed the North Stand at the AJ Bell Stadium the ‘Snow-Camp Stand’. Home to the Sale Sharks rugby team, the unveiling of the Snow-Camp Stand took place on August 13th to coincide with the launch of our programmes in the region.
Former England International and Sale Sharks player, Mark Cueto unveiled the stand with Snow-Camp Patron, Chemmy Alcott, Snow-Camp Founder, Dan Charlish and AJ Bell’s Marketing Director, Billy Mackay.
AJ Bell’s Marketing Director, Billy Mackay, said:
“Snow-Camp’s programmes will be a great asset to youth groups in the North West, and we are delighted to help Snow-Camp extend their reach in this area. We are also pleased that we can help spread awareness of the charity’s great work by renaming the North Stand at the AJ Bell Stadium as the Snow-Camp Stand.”
Snow-Camp Patron and 4x Winter Olympian and BBC presenter, Chemmy Alcott said:
“I have been a Patron for Snow-Camp for over 10 years and I am so proud to see how the charity has developed and grown into the national charity it is today. To have the Snow-Camp Stand at the AJ Bell Stadium is fantastic and I hope it will encourage many more people and companies in the area to support the charity.”
