Ski, socialise & support Snow Camp with Henry Druce in Val d’Isère!

Join Henry Druce for a week of exploration, adventure and fundraising in Val d’Isère: 7 nights, 30th November 2025

To all our Snow Camp supporters, you’re invited to join Henry Druce for an unforgettable week in the Alps that not only delivers exhilarating snowsports, but also raises awareness and vital funds for our life‐changing work.

This week will combine luxury chalet living, expert ski guiding, camaraderie and fundraising for Snow Camp’s mission to empower thousands more inner-city young people with the power of snowsports, life‑skills, qualifications and vocational opportunities.

Who is Henry Druce – champion of snowsports and random acts of kindness!

Henry Druce is a renowned ski editor, ski host and mountain enthusiast. For over 20 years he served as ski editor for major UK publications, including Daily Mail and The Telegraph, leading reader trips across France, Italy, the US, Canada and Japan.

Beyond his editorial work, Henry’s been a true champion of Snow Camp for many years, most notably by using his platform to promote his 333 random acts of kindness and raising over £1000 for Snow Camp!

His commitment to our cause stems from his belief that if you’re fortunate enough to ski and to have had opportunities, then you can help others who simply don’t have to the same advantages.

Henry says:

“It’s a passion that is shared by Snow Camp – a brilliant charity which helps young people who don’t have the advantages I did when growing up to achieve their full potential through snowsports.”

We at Snow Camp are so thankful that Henry is lending his expertise, enthusiasm and network to help us reach young people whose lives can be changed by exposure to snowsports and the life-skills they inherently offer, combined with our youth development sessions off the slope.

The week in Val d’Isère – ski, socialise & make a difference

A group of skiers in bright winter gear poses in front of large red letters spelling “Val d’Isère” on a snowy slope, with Henry Druce smiling in the foreground taking a selfie. Everyone is geared up with helmets and goggles, celebrating on a bluebird day in the French Alps.

We are thrilled that Henry is partnering with VIP SKI to host this exclusive week of skiing in the iconic resort of Val d’Isère from 30 November 2025. The details make it clear that this is as much about making memories as it is about making a difference.

What you can expect:

  • 7 nights’ accommodation in the luxurious No. 3 CLUB Bellevarde chalet, situated right on the edge of the Santons piste with ski‑in/ski‑out access.
  • Four days of complimentary on‑piste guiding by the expert team at Oxygène ski school, with the option of a discounted off‑piste adventure.
  • Fun social events: après‑ski outings, quiz night, charity auction and a prize‑giving party – all in support of Snow Camp.

By taking part, you’ll not only enjoy an outstanding ski holiday, but you’ll also be helping Snow Camp serve more young people, enabling them to access snowsports experiences, build self‑belief, gain qualifications and open up new pathways.

Why this matters – the impact of Snow Camp

A large group of Snow Camp participants and mentors pose playfully in matching blue ski jackets at the base of a sunny ski slope. Surrounded by snow, ski lifts, and mountains, they celebrate together on a wooden platform with a mix of standing and lying poses, showing team spirit and joy.

Since 2003, Snow Camp has used the power of snowsports to turn young lives around through skiing and snowboarding combined with life‑skills, qualifications and vocational opportunities.

Young people from underserved backgrounds often don’t have access to artificial slopes in the UK, let alone the mountain environment. As such, they also don’t have access to the life‑changing opportunities that come from challenging themselves on & off the slopes, whilst broadening their horizons and breaking down barriers. Your support helps change that.

How you can join and support

Henry Druce stands on a mountain viewing platform overlooking the snow-covered peaks of the French Alps, smiling in ski gear with a panoramic view behind him. It's a clear day, showcasing the dramatic scenery of the Val d’Isère ski area.

Here’s how you can be part of this special week:

  • Book your place on the Henry Druce ski week via VIP SKI. You’ll stay in exceptional accommodation, enjoy incredible guiding, meet Henry and others who share your passion.
  • Spread the word! Share this opportunity on social media, tell fellow ski‑fans, ask friends to join or support the fundraising even if they can’t attend.
  • Pack your skis, your enthusiasm and your sense of purpose. This isn’t just a holiday. It’s a holiday with heart.

We’re deeply thankful to Henry, VIP SKI and every participant for choosing to do more than just ski. You’re helping us deliver lifechanging experiences and create brighter futures for many more young people across the UK.
