Run for Snow-Camp
This October why not take on a new challenge in a beautiful setting by running through Hyde Park, The Green Park, St James’s Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as passing by famed London landmarks such as Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square and the Houses of Parliament for Snow-Camp.
How you can get involved:
The minimum fundraising target for all our runners this year is £400. You will have our full support and typically our runners raise on average £450-£500. We’ll be behind you all the way!
Each Royal Parks Half Marathon place costs Snow-Camp £135. With your £400 minimum fundraising target, this means you will raise over £265 in pure fundraising towards our work – enabling at least 2 new inner-city young people to join us on our 2-day beginner First Tracks Programme, who wouldn’t be able to do so without your support.
The Royal Parks Half Marathon also has a sustainable ethos. In 2017, every plastic bottle used on the course and 58% of waste from the food festival was recycled. In addition, 891kg of discarded clothing was saved from going to a landfill site and sustainable materials are used throughout all aspects of the event including bamboo and recycled polyester shirts, wooden medals and banana composting bins, to name just a few.
