Ski Focus Summit & Raffle Supporting Snow Camp

A Partnership Fuelled by Passion for the Snow

This September, Ski Focus – the respected UK ski coaching company founded by Stuart Bernard – is hosting a two-day Ski Focus Summit at The Snow Centre in Hemel Hempstead. Designed to elevate skiing performance and community connection, this special event is also helping to change lives through snowsports, thanks to a powerful partnership with Snow Camp.

Alongside expert-led coaching and workshops, the Summit will feature an incredible charity raffle, with 100% of the proceeds going to Snow Camp. And even more exciting – Snow Camp apprentices and trainees will be actively involved in the event, gaining hands-on experience and exposure to a professional snowsports environment.

A Shared Mission on the Slopes

At Snow Camp, we’re always inspired by people who believe in the transformative power of the mountains. Stuart Bernard and the Ski Focus team have long championed development through skiing – and this new partnership brings that vision to life in a way that supports not just skills, but futures.

The Ski Focus Summit 2025 is more than a coaching camp. It’s a place where the snowsports community comes together to celebrate performance, progression, and purpose. We’re incredibly grateful that Stuart is using this platform to help young people across the UK access life-changing opportunities through Snow Camp.

Removing Barriers and Opening Doors

In the UK, many young people never get the chance to experience the slopes. At Snow Camp, we work to change that. Through a structured programme of First Tracks, Graduate, Excel, and Apprenticeships, we help young people develop snowsports skills alongside life skills, mental health support and career development.

But it’s partnerships like this that take our impact to the next level. Events like the Ski Focus Summit enable us to offer real-world opportunities that extend beyond the snow dome.

As part of this event, we’re proud to share that Snow Camp apprentices and trainees will be embedded in the delivery of the Summit, gaining invaluable experience and professional insight.

Experience and Opportunity: How the Summit Works

Workshop Format

Each day includes four themed workshops, blending on-snow performance with off-snow preparation and technical insight:

Workshop 1 (On-Snow) – 2025–26 Ski Testing
Try the latest skis from Atomic, Rossignol, and Dynastar, with support from Ski Bartlett and expert coaching from the Ski Focus team.

Workshop 2 (On-Snow) – Carv Digital Coaching + Ski Testing
Experience cutting-edge performance technology with Carv – a digital ski coach using advanced motion sensors to track and analyse your skiing – combined with more ski testing and live coaching from Ski Focus.

Workshop 3 (Off-Snow) – Strength & Conditioning + Physio
Led by Elite Physical Medicine and High Performance S&C, learn how to physically prepare your body for skiing, boost your performance, and prevent injuries.

Workshop 4 (Off-Snow) – Precision Boot Fitting
Discover how the perfect fit can transform your skiing, with professional boot-fitting specialists from Solutions 4 Feet.

How the Day Flows

  • Participants choose their group (A, B, C, or D) when booking.
  • Each group rotates through all four workshops during the day, alternating between on-snow and off-snow sessions.
  • This ensures every guest experiences every workshop.

Snow Camp Involvement

We’re proud to share that Snow Camp will be actively involved across both days of the Summit.

  • Dan Keeley, our Events & Communities Manager, will be on site for day one, alongside Angus, our London Programme Manager.
  • Snow Camp apprentices will be present on both days, embedded with the guest groups throughout the sessions.

This structure offers our young people a unique opportunity to:

  • Observe and assist in professional workshops
  • Interact with coaches and participants
  • Gain real-world experience in a high-performance coaching environment

We’re incredibly grateful to Stuart Bernard and the Ski Focus team for making this opportunity possible. These two days will offer invaluable insights and experiences for our apprentices as they continue their journey with Snow Camp.
