At Snow Camp, we’ve always believed in doing things differently. From launching in 2003 with a vision to use snowsports as a vehicle for youth empowerment, to now supporting thousands of young people across the UK with life skills, mental health support, qualifications and employment – innovation has always been at the heart of our work.
And innovation doesn’t just happen on the slopes.
Thanks to our partnership with The Access Group, and the implementation of their Donorfy CRM system, we’ve been able to make transformational changes behind the scenes that are already having a huge impact across our programmes. We’re truly grateful for their support – because smarter systems mean more time, energy, and resources to invest directly in the young people we serve.
Like many youth-focused charities, we’ve grown significantly in recent years – expanding our programmes, reaching new regions, and launching new initiatives like Stop.Breathe.Think to support young people’s mental health.
But behind every programme is a mountain of admin. Before Donorfy, we were using a patchwork of disconnected systems to manage fundraising, events, supporter communications and Gift Aid. This made day-to-day operations time-consuming and error-prone – especially for a small team with limited resources.
We knew that if we wanted to continue growing sustainably – and ultimately reach more young people – we needed to rethink our digital infrastructure. We needed a solution that would save time, simplify data management, and give us the confidence to grow without growing our admin burden.
Enter Donorfy, delivered through our partnership with The Access Group. After reviewing our needs and exploring different CRM solutions, Donorfy stood out not just for its functionality, but for its deep understanding of the charity sector.
The system integrates seamlessly with the tools we were already using – including Mailchimp, JustGiving, Enthuse and Stripe – meaning no more duplicate data entry or disconnected records.
The interface is intuitive and easy to use, which has made training and onboarding a smooth process for the team. With full UK-based support and transparent pricing, we’ve felt supported every step of the way.
We’re now using Donorfy across our organisation – from fundraising and comms, to events and supporter stewardship. And the difference has been extraordinary.
Since implementing Donorfy, we’ve already seen tangible benefits that are helping us work smarter – and ultimately reach more young people with our programmes.
Here are just a few highlights:
For us, these outcomes aren’t just technical wins. They’re about people. Every hour saved on admin is an hour we can spend delivering life-changing programmes for young people. Every pound raised more efficiently is a pound invested in someone’s future.
When you work in youth development, time and energy are everything.
The back-office improvements we’ve made thanks to The Access Group have already had a ripple effect across our team – reducing stress, improving morale, and giving us more time to do what we do best: support young people to thrive.
Our life skills sessions are more consistent. Our communications with supporters are more timely and meaningful. Our ability to deliver and evaluate impact across regions is stronger than ever.
And we’re just getting started.
One of the most exciting outcomes of this partnership is the confidence it’s given us to scale up – not just our day-to-day operations, but our long-term vision for Snow Camp Futures.
The Snow Camp Futures programme is designed to take young people from participants to professionals – offering advanced snowsports training, qualifications, apprenticeships and real-world work experience across the snowsports industry. It’s where we see our biggest potential for long-term impact, and we’re committed to growing this opportunity for more young people across the UK.
But with growth comes complexity.
Managing the relationships, training schedules, qualifications, mentorships, and partner placements across multiple regions takes time, structure and reliable systems. Thanks to Donorfy and our partnership with The Access Group, we now have the tools in place to do just that – with confidence.
From better segmentation of participant data, to automated reporting and integrated communications with young people and partners, we’re now able to track every step of a young person’s Futures journey. And most importantly, we can respond quickly to their needs, opportunities and progress.
Having a reliable, flexible CRM system in place means we’re no longer limited by manual processes or disconnected data. We’re ready to expand Snow Camp Futures to more young people in more locations – knowing we have the infrastructure to support them all the way to the summit.
We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone at The Access Group for believing in Snow Camp and for supporting our mission with such professionalism, care and generosity.
By investing in our digital infrastructure, you haven’t just helped us run better events or send better emails – you’ve helped us reach more young people, more efficiently, and with greater impact.
You’ve helped us grow with confidence – and for that, we are deeply grateful.
We believe in partnerships that create real impact – for young people, for communities, and for the organisations involved.
If your company is looking to make a difference and work with a charity that’s dynamic, innovative and youth-focused, we’d love to hear from you.
