We’re so proud to share that on 30 May 2025, Iain Martin successfully completed his epic Challenge – skiing at all five of the UK’s indoor snow centres in one day!
Iain covered over 500 miles in a single day, skiing at least 10 runs at each centre, all in support of Snow Camp and the life-changing opportunities we provide for young people.
Thanks to everyone who supported him, the challenge raised over £1,500, which will help 15 young people access snowsports for the first time through our First Tracks programme.
“It was a long day – 12 hours driving, 2 hours skiing, and 1 big goal – supporting Snow Camp. Seeing the support come in made every mile worth it.” – Iain Martin, The Ski Podcast
We are so grateful for every single donation, and to Iain for his amazing effort and commitment to our cause.
You can listen to Iain’s recent episode on The Ski Podcast talking all about this challenge in his own words here.

On Friday, 30th May, Iain Martin – host of The Ski Podcast – is taking on a unique and self-hosted fundraising challenge in support of Snow Camp.
His mission? To ski a minimum of 10 runs at each of the UK’s five indoor snow centres in a single day!
Iain aims to cover over 500 miles, raising vital funds to support 25 young people to access snowsports for the first time on Snow Camp’s beginner programmes this summer.
Each donation towards Iain’s £2,500 fundraising target helps a young person from an underserved community take their first turns on snow, build confidence, and open the door to new possibilities through Snow Camp’s full 12-month programme journey, culminating with a life-changing week in the mountains.
The challenge will see Iain:
The five indoor snow centres on the route are:
A key Snow Camp location, The Snow Centre, is where many young people in our London programmes begin their journey on snow. This facility provides a fantastic introduction to skiing and snowboarding and plays a big role in our First Tracks, Graduate and Excel programmes in the South.
The SnowDome is the home of Snow Camp’s Midlands programme. It’s where young people from Birmingham, Coventry, and surrounding areas begin their Snow Camp journey. From First Tracks through to the Graduate and Excel Programmes, the SnowDome provides a brilliant environment for young people to gain snowsport skills, grow in confidence, and explore new opportunities. We’re proud to partner with this fantastic facility as our only delivery base in the Midlands.
Snozone Milton Keynes is a key stop in Iain’s challenge. As one of the UK’s busiest indoor snow centres, it plays an important role in the national snowsports landscape and provides a high-quality slope experience. It’s great to see it featured in this journey connecting indoor slopes across the UK, raising awareness for young people who don’t normally get access to these kinds of spaces.
Chill Factore is the hub of Snow Camp’s North West programme, delivering First Tracks, Graduate and Excel programmes to young people from Manchester, Liverpool and the wider region. As the UK’s longest indoor real-snow slope, it offers a brilliant space for young people to gain new experiences, grow in confidence and progress through their snowsport journey. We’re proud to work closely with the Chill Factore team to make a real impact in the North West – and excited to see Iain include it in the 25 in 25 challenge.
Snozone Yorkshire offers one of the longest slopes in the UK, and another important stop on Iain’s challenge in the north-east.
By including all five centres, Iain is paying tribute to the full reach of UK snowsports, and Snow Camp’s expanding impact across the country.
At the heart of the ‘25 in 25’ challenge is the desire to change lives. Each £100 raised funds a place on our beginner programme, First Tracks, helping young people:
However, the Snow Camp journey doesn’t stop on the slopes. Snow Camp offers:
By supporting Iain, you’re not just backing a challenge – you’re changing futures.
The ‘25 in 25’ challenge follows in the tracks of a legacy of creative and heartfelt fundraising for Snow Camp. In 2012, our supporters took on the Snow Camp Rally – a unique event that involved teams racing across the Alps in costume, skiing the different indoor ski slopes and raising funds along the way.
That event raised awareness and vital funds to expand our programmes, and it built a strong sense of community across the UK snowsports world.
We’re thrilled to see supporters like Iain reawakening this tradition – combining fun, challenge and a passion for the mountains in support of Snow Camp.
