If you’ve always wanted to try skiing or snowboarding – or you’re looking for a way back onto the slopes – the Way2Snow programme is the perfect way to start. Designed by Snowsport England, this inclusive new initiative gives beginners the chance to build snow skills affordably at indoor snow centres across the UK.
But there’s more to it than just lessons. A percentage of every Way2Snow package is donated to Snow Camp and Disability Snowsport UK (DSUK), helping young people from underserved communities access snowsports and life skills programmes that can change the course of their lives.
Launched this month, Way2Snow is a national campaign to make it easier for people of all backgrounds to experience snow sports. Whether you’re new to skiing or snowboarding, or just a bit rusty, the programme offers a structured, friendly introduction at three of the UK’s top indoor slopes:
What’s included:

By signing up to Way2Snow, you’re doing more than preparing for your next winter holiday – you’re helping to create opportunities for young people who need them most.
A portion of every sale is donated directly to Snow Camp, funding our year-round programmes that provide young people with mental health support, vocational training, and access to the mountains.
From their first-ever snow session on First Tracks to advanced training on Excel and employment through our award winning Apprenticeship programme, your support helps make these pathways possible.
Way2Snow’s approach mirrors our values at Snow Camp: use the mountain environment to build skills, friendships, and a new sense of direction.
Just like our Excel Programme, which trains young people to instructor level, Way2Snow encourages learners to push their limits in a supportive, inclusive environment.
Together, we’re opening the world of snowsports to more people, no matter their background or experience.
Way2Snow is designed to be as inclusive as possible, welcoming both adults and juniors aged 11 and up. It’s perfect for absolute beginners who’ve never tried skiing or snowboarding before, as well as those returning to the slopes after a break.
The programme also offers tailored support for participants with additional needs through our friends at DSUK, ensuring that everyone can enjoy the thrill of snow in a safe, supportive environment. Whether you’re a solo learner, a family looking for a new adventure, or someone preparing for a winter holiday, Way2Snow gives you the perfect chance to build your confidence on real snow.

On top of expert lessons and equipment, each Way2Snow package includes:
That’s real value whether you’re heading to the Alps this winter or just discovering snow for the first time.

Signing up for Way2Snow is about more than learning to ski or snowboard. It’s about opening the door for someone else to do the same. A percentage of each Way2Snow package goes directly to Snow Camp, helping us engage over 1,000 young people from underserved communities each year through our structured, supportive programmes.
Our youth journey begins with First Tracks and continues through the Graduate and Excel Programmes. Along the way, young people gain accredited qualifications, mental health support, and life-changing experiences that help shape their futures. Some go on to become instructors themselves, while others take the confidence and skills they’ve gained into entirely new career paths.
Take Ashleigh, for example:
“I have Asperger’s Syndrome and a chronic illness called CFS/ME. Snow Camp has been a life-changing opportunity that has completely changed how I see myself and I have learnt that I can push myself further than I ever thought possible. Snow Camp is a welcome respite from my responsibilities at home, both physically and emotionally. I have discovered a profound passion for snowboarding, and I can’t wait to further develop my skills.”
Stories like Ashleigh’s are made possible by the generous support of people like you. By taking your first steps onto the snow with Way2Snow, you’re helping someone else take theirs and supporting a journey that can truly change lives.
