Last week, the team at Delancey welcomed Snow Camp for a special career advice day, celebrating the company’s longstanding support of our programmes and young people.
Youth Forum volunteers and Snow Camp young people spent the day hearing from professionals across the business and discovering career paths they may never have imagined before. A part of our Snow Camp Futures programme, we are grateful for the opportunity to engage our young people with the supportive partners we have; visits like this provide both inspirational stories and tangible future pathways.
We also celebrated an amazing £12,000 donation given by the team at Delancey to support Snow Camp’s work this year. As one of our valued partners, Delancey has been supporting our work for over ten years, and we are so grateful for their continued partnership.

Snow Camp is incredibly grateful for the enduring support of Delancey; over the past 10 years, the team have raised a phenomenal £286,630 for our charity. This incredible support has ensured more young people than ever can experience the life-changing power of snowsports.
Delancey are big supporters of our work and share our philosophy that snowsports can help young people change their lives for the better. Over the years, Delancey have also provided crucial opportunities to support the vocational side of Snow Camp; the team have been sharing guidance and advice around career pathways and employability with our young people, and last week’s visit is a perfect example of this work.
For many years, Delancey have also supported our flagship fundraising event, the 3 Valley Rally; in 2023, their team won the top fundraising award with a staggering £25,000 raised. Alongside their brilliant fundraising work, their team name – “Delanski” – is always a winner to us. We’re looking forward to seeing the Delanski team out in Val Thorens in April and celebrating their fundraising success for another year!

Snowsports is integral to the journey young people go on as part of Snow Camp. Our young people gain a range of skills and qualifications, with many going on to work in the snowsports sector after their programme journey ends. But the opportunities and training don’t end at the slopes; we work with our valued partners beyond the snowsports industry to deliver a variety of workshops, talks, and potential employment possibilities to young people. The Snow Camp Futures Programme allows Snow Camp young people to continue accessing life-changing support as they make their way into employment.
Delancey is a perfect example of this collaboration; as a real estate asset management and advisory company, Delancey are able to offer our young people key insights into career pathways within their industry, an opportunity that would otherwise be inaccessible to many of the young people we support. Snow Camp Futures aims to improve the employability outcomes for our young people, and the support of partners like Delancey make this possible.

Our visit to Delancey last week was not just a celebration of their amazing support of Snow Camp, but a chance for Snow Camp young people to hear inspirational stories about perseverance and resilience. Just like learning to ski or snowboard, forging a career means falling and getting back up again, learning lessons from our mistakes and pushing on anyway.
The speakers who shared their stories made one thing clear: no one person’s journey is the same. Every speaker had their own path, different starts, different steps and challenges along the way. But what connected them all was curiosity, hard work and the courage to keep asking questions. This message resonated with the Snow Camp young people, a reminder of the lessons they learnt though their programme journey.
From development managers to investment professionals, the day opened a window into the world of commercial real estate and showed our young people that careers can take many different routes. They just need to be prepared to be determined and take every opportunity that comes their way.

“A huge thank you to Jamie Ritblat and the whole team at Delancey for once again supporting Snow Camp young people in such a powerful and impactful way. We’re so grateful for the ongoing partnership with Delancey and, more importantly, with so many individuals within the company who believe in Snow Camp’s vision and continue to back our work. It always feels like more than a corporate partnership as we know so many people in the company who continue to go above and beyond for our charity.”
“It was an absolute pleasure to host the 20 plus young people at Delancey for a Snow Camp Futures day earlier this month. Snow Camp is one of our most loved and long-standing charity partners, and the work they do to upskill young people so they are more employable and confident in the workplace is second to none. We were excited to hear about their new Futures programme and didn’t think twice about signing up to be one of the first companies to host a group and give them a feel for what working in commercial real estate is really like. We are already looking forward to the next one.”
As some of our biggest champions and highest fundraisers, Team Delanski are returning for the 2026 AJ Bell 3 Valley Rally for Snow Camp this April! If you’d like to cheer them on and donate to their fundraising for Snow Camp, please visit their fundraising page here.
